My whole life I’ve always liked to watch movies. Ever since I was 3, my mom used to put on The Lion King video cassette on our player and I could spend the entire day watching over and over. Over the years, I remember watching on repeat 4 movies: The Lion King, Madagascar, Pirates of the Caribbean (just the trilogy), and Titanic.
When I first watched Titanic, the “I am the king of the world” line hasn’t impacted me as much as the “You jump, I jump, Jack” has. And honestly, I don’t know why. The only thing I know for a fact is that I’ve always wanted to say that specific line in a glorious circumstance. Okay, so, you might be wondering “what does the titanic movie has to do with this post?”, well, everything.
Hiking is something I usually don’t do much, not because I don’t like it, but because I’m afraid of heights, and these Clube33 members like to play hard. And by these members, I mean, Josian and Anderson, because our other member, Elias, was hiking through his pillows and bedsheets. Just kidding, he was working. What I mean by that is: if they invite you to a hike, make sure you’re wearing hiking shoes, a backpack, ropes, knife, gun, hahaha, I’m just kidding. But anyway, they invited me to go on a hike, and of course, I went.
Even though they had to slow down their path every time we had to cross a river because I was scared (a river that shouldn’t be even called a river, because even my 5-year-old niece could cross it without problems), even though we had to stop to breathe, and even though we hiked for about 3 hours one way, the overall experience was OUT OF THIS WORLD. AMAZING! Well, after 3 hours of hiking we got to the most expected place: The Bridge to Nowhere. Fair name by the way, since the bridge doesn’t take you anywhere. From that point, you may think: either make your way back or you wait, eat something, appreciate the view, and make your way back.
BUT, what many people don’t know about this bridge is: you can JUMP OUT OF IT, and this is where I finally relate the movie with the post.
When I first saw the bridge, I was like “hmmmmm, Nah. I like my life.” but then as I began to see people enrolling to do the jumping, especially those younger than me, I was like “I still like my life, but, why not?”.
I looked at Josian, then I looked at Anderson, and then I looked at the bridge. All that I could say was: “You jump, I jump”. And a lot of memories of my childhood came to my mind. Besides that, my adrenaline was HIGH!
Well, we jumped.
We jumped out of a bridge.
And I got to use one of my favorite lines in a glorious circumstance, as I had planned since I first watched Titanic.
My thoughts on the matter? UNBELIEVABLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! AMAZING! OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE!

You can also watch our jumps through our Instagram.
We’re down to do it again, so if you got excited to go bungee jumping, let us know.
It’s the “You Jump, I jump.” experience afterall.

That’s us (Ceica -one of our friends, the red backpack person- and I, pink shoes one) hiking to get to the Bridge of Nowhere (Josian took the picture). I believe Anderson was behind us.
Josian’s girlfriend. He loves that old lady. She’s nice. Very polite. She brings LIFE to him. Oh, and she got a tattoo.
Josian being brave.
